What is the difference between Casa Moondi and The Lodge?
Casa Moondi is our half hectare of private land with palm trees, fruit trees and herbs. It is the entire land where everything is located, including The Lodge and the saltwater pool. The Lodge is the house we created specifically for our guests. When you stay at The Lodge, you are staying in the green surroundings of Casa Moondi.
Where is Casa Moondi located?
You will find us in Lagos, in the sunny Algarve. We are perfectly tucked away for peace and privacy, yet only 5 to 7 minutes by car from the city center and beautiful beaches.
How far is Casa Moondi from the beach?
The ocean is close by. Within 7 to 8 minutes by car, you can choose from several stunning spots, like the golden cliffs of Porto de Mós or the long sandy shores of Meia Praia.
How many bedrooms does The Lodge have?
The Lodge features two bedrooms. There is one spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second comfortable bedroom with a queen-size bed. Additionally, the sofa bed in the living area offers extra space, making the house suitable for up to five guests.
How many guests can stay at The Lodge?
The Lodge can comfortably host up to 5 guests. With two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area, it is the perfect setting for families, small groups of friends, or professional teams looking for an inspiring place to connect and work.
Does The Lodge have a sea view?
The Lodge is tucked away in the green surroundings for total privacy and does not have a sea view. However, because Casa Moondi is situated on a hill, you can enjoy views of the ocean from specific spots on the land.
Does The Lodge have a private outdoor?
Yes, The Lodge has its own terrace and a garden area for your private use. While you have your own space to relax, the rest of the land and the saltwater pool are shared with us. Since we live on-site, we will see each other around on the land, but we always respect your peace and privacy.
Is there private parking?
Yes, we have plenty of space for parking on our private land. You can safely park your car inside our gates, right near The Lodge, so you never have to worry about finding a spot.
Are towels and bed linen provided at The Lodge??
Yes, we make sure everything is ready for you. Bed linen and towels are included, and we also provide separate towels for the pool. This way, you have more space in your suitcase for the things that matter.
Is cleaning included during longer stays?
Yes. For stays longer than a week, we provide a weekly cleaning service including fresh linens and towels. If you would like extra cleaning in between, we can arrange that for you for an additional fee.
Can we book the entire land of Casa Moondi for private use?
At this moment, only The Lodge is available for rent, as we live in the main house ourselves. However, this might change in the future.
Is there a washing machine available?
Is The Lodge accessible for guests with mobility issues?
The Lodge is all on one level, making it easy to move around. However, please keep in mind that the house is not specifically designed for wheelchairs, as the doorways are not wide enough. If you have specific needs, feel free to ask us.
Is there fast Wi-Fi at The Lodge?
Yes. The Lodge is equipped with high speed fiber internet, providing a strong and stable connection for video calls, streaming, or working remotely. The signal even extends throughout the garden. If you prefer a completely offline experience, we can easily remove the Wi-Fi from the house for you.
Are toiletries and essentials available at The Lodge??
Yes. We provide free organic shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. To make your stay easy from day one, you will also find dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent ready for you to use.
Will we meet a dog at Casa Moondi?
Yes, you’ll likely meet Kayla. She is our friendly and enthusiastic family dog. An unique mix of Border Collie, Labrador, Podenco, and Bretogne. Kayla loves the land and is always happy to give you a warm welcome.
What is the minimum stay at The Lodge?
The minimum stay is 4 nights during low and medium season, and 7 nights during high season. If you are looking for a shorter stay, please reach out to us. We are always happy to check if we can find a way to welcome you.
